A cooperative of Amazonian cocoa growers
The Curimaná Cocoa Growers’ Agricultural Cooperative (CURICOOP) was founded in 2019 to strengthen the livelihoods of local farmers, raise the quality of Amazonian cocoa and open doors to specialty markets that reward good work.
Today we bring together more than 200 families who grow fine flavor and CCN51 cocoa on 320 hectares in the province of Padre Abad, in the Ucayali region of Peru. We work under principles of sustainability, fairness and commitment to the development of our communities.
